One sentence

Vem, Exu is an interactive story where the story is told by the player's actions, following a boy who faces a storm created by his own anger.

One paragraph

Inspired by the short story “Exu was afraid” by Rafael Semino, Vem, Exu is a short and emotional game.
After losing his kite to his brother, Exu goes to sleep angry. His anger awakens a magical storm
where dream and reality merge. Crossing skies and constellations, he needs to deal with his own
pride to recover his kite and be able to return home.

Three paragraphs

Vem, Exu is a short interactive narrative developed by Estúdio Tejo, from Fortaleza, Ceará. Inspired by the short story Exu Was Afraid, from the book Tales of Exu (Rafael Semino), the game follows a boy who, after losing his kite, is taken to a world where his feelings take the form of a storm.

The story is told with few texts: the player understands everything by interacting with the environment, through sound and movement. The art direction in black, white and red draws from woodcut and cordel literature, while the reactive soundtrack brings Afro-Brazilian percussion and sounds from Ceará.

With about 50 minutes of total duration (15-minute demo), Vem, Exu is an accessible and universal experience: with a minimal language barrier, no time pressure, designed for those who always play and for those who have never played. The demo is available on Google Play, with a Steam version scheduled for July 2026 and full release in 2027.
